A Year in the Making

So I thought it would be fun to show you (yes you, if you’re reading this) what our kitchen looked like a year ago around this time and compare with what it looks like today. We are very proud of the kitchen because it was the area that needed the most work . It had a lot more work required than initially thought (aka fun surprises) but nothing that a little/lot of time and money couldn’t fix. 🙂 It’s been finished since we moved in back in April but every now and again I have to look back at the reno pictures to remember how it used to look.  Click here and here to see some kitchen reno stuff.

Stuff we did…

repaired the molded sheet rock (explanation here) and re-built the cabinets surrounding the sink

Painted all the cabinets, walls, and molding

replaced the backsplash, flooring, appliances, sink and fixtures

added under lighting and hardware to the cabinets

replaced the window

cried (me)

laughed (Ryan)

sweat and bled

if you’re still reading then that about sums it up 🙂 Thar she is. Our pride and joy.
